1 step closer!
Ok, ok, so I got the content to import! Woo hoo! :doing a lil celebratory dance:
buuuuuuuuuuuuut...
For whatever reason, my permalinks aren't working and neither are the comments.
Anyway, it's still 1 step closer. Just a few more things I need to set up before I officially move.
Have a great weekend everyone!

New blog coming soon. One of these days. If I can just get it set up!
New projects coming up here at house of NtycnBoricua. Soon, very soon.
One of them is a new blog for me. Yay!
It should be yay, anyway. But, no, no yay here, not really.
That's because, although we've already bought the domain, I can't get the stupid blog set up.
I've installed WordPress already. That was no problem.
But, how in the world do I import my content from the new Blogger to WordPress?
Can anybody help me out? I know plenty of you use WordPress. Maybe some of you had switched from Blogger?
I need to get started if I'm going to meet my goal for March!
P.S. Don't forget to visit my party. There's only one day left!

Oh so fashionably late...
The party started on Friday and I'm just now arriving!
You don't know what I'm talking about? You don't know about the blog party 5 Minutes for Mom is hosting? Well go on over and read all about it.
For those of you arriving here from the party, WELCOME! I'll try to be a gracious hostess.
You can read a little about me here and find out just what exactly the name NtycnBoricua is all about.
I often write about our lil monkey (aka baby girl), sometimes include the husband, and mostly just ramble on about motherhood, parenting, and my goal of working from home and becoming a WAHM.
I do hope you enjoy your stay and hopefully you'll come back often! Enjoy the party!

No leash for us
A few days ago, I posted that we were debating on whether or not we should use a baby leash on our lil monkey.
Our decision? NO.
It just seems too cruel. We'll manage without.
Thanks for your tips!

Holy Shit! $7,011.05 in one Month!
Ok, I MUST be doing something wrong.
Scratch that. I'm just working in the wrong field.
At the very least, I need to get my ass working full time on this blog and have it make me some money.
Serious money.
$7,011.05 to be exact.
That's how much John Chow made in the short month of February.
What the fuck, you say? Yea, that was pretty much my reaction too. :sigh:
Goal for March: Get my new blog up and running on the domain name I just bought!
More on this soon.

Keep your child on a leash
Baby girl is now 14 months old (Just when do you stop counting the months?). Anyway, as a very active 14 month old, she naturally wants to explore. Problem is, she doesn't exactly know her boundaries just yet. She completely ignores when we tell her NO and she runs away when we go to grab her. This works alright when at home. But, when out and about (at the store, mall, neighborhood, etc.), I would like to be able to walk around with her and get her out of her stroller or the shopping cart. I know she would LOVE this too. She can only last in the stroller but so long before she gets frustrated and tired. Same thing with the shopping cart. So, what are our options?
Well, just the other day, the husband and I were talking and we started laughing when we remembered the baby leash safety harness.
See, we used to think that the baby leash was a horrible horrible invention. I mean, why would anyone put a LEASH on their baby? The poor little things were walking around looking like little dogs!
We SWORE we would never do that to our baby when we had one. However, upon actually having a baby and when faced with such a situation, we can't help but wonder if maybe the leash would help. It would help her with her frustration, since she'd actually get to be walking instead of strapped into the cart or stroller. Then again, she might get even more frustrated when she realizes she can't get very far. It would also help us have control and she wouldn't be able to get very far from us.
I have no idea, what do you think? Would you use a baby harness for your toddler? Or, have you used one in the past?
