1 step closer!

Ok, ok, so I got the content to import! Woo hoo! :doing a lil celebratory dance:

buuuuuuuuuuuuut...

For whatever reason, my permalinks aren't working and neither are the comments.

Anyway, it's still 1 step closer. Just a few more things I need to set up before I officially move.

New blog coming soon. One of these days. If I can just get it set up!

New projects coming up here at house of NtycnBoricua. Soon, very soon.

One of them is a new blog for me. Yay!

It should be yay, anyway. But, no, no yay here, not really.

That's because, although we've already bought the domain, I can't get the stupid blog set up.

I've installed WordPress already. That was no problem.

But, how in the world do I import my content from the new Blogger to WordPress?

Can anybody help me out? I know plenty of you use WordPress. Maybe some of you had switched from Blogger?

I need to get started if I'm going to meet my goal for March!

Holy Shit! $7,011.05 in one Month!

Ok, I MUST be doing something wrong.

Scratch that. I'm just working in the wrong field.

At the very least, I need to get my ass working full time on this blog and have it make me some money.

Serious money.

$7,011.05 to be exact.

That's how much John Chow made in the short month of February.

What the fuck, you say? Yea, that was pretty much my reaction too. :sigh:

Goal for March: Get my new blog up and running on the domain name I just bought!

New widget allows you to share files

I love new gadgets, don’t you? The Box.net company has come up with the box.net widget, a widget you can plug in to your blog, MySpace, or anywhere else you like. I’m trying it out – see it down there on the bottom?

I like the concept, but it seems a bit hard to customize. I was able to change the color, file names, and title of my Box, but I couldn’t see how to resize it to fit properly on my sidebar. I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that it’s probably just because it’s in Beta right now. Hopefully they’ll get those little kinks worked out soon enough.

Seems like a cool concept, though.

Quick question on finding out how people land here

I know you all know how to do this. I've seen some of you post on the weird searches that land people on your blog. It's probably really simple.

But, for the life of me, I need it explained.

Can you all enlighten me? How can I find out what type of keywords and searches send people to my blog?

South Beach, Weight Watchers, NutriSystem - Oh what's a girl to do?

Ok, so everyone seems to be losing weight, except for me of course. Plain Jane Mom is on the South Beach diet and has already lost 6 pounds! Oh, The Joys has lost weight with Weight Watchers. Some of the folks at my job have also started various forms of dieting and/or just eating healthy. I know it's a popular New Year's resolution and it makes sense, but I just haven't jumped on the bandwagon. I really need to get my act together, gain some motivation from these fine folks and decide how I will lose this weight.

What seems to work for you? Is there a particular diet you like?
